Review Day: Kong Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher from Chewy.com

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013~2016

Hi Everyone,

We recently reviewed the Kong Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher and it is available in 3 different sizes; single, double, and incline (which is what I am reviewing). I was in desperate need of another cat scratcher and I was very happy to be given the Kong Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher to review on Life with Ragdolls.

The Kong Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher promotes:

* Appropriate instinctual cat scratching.
* Saves furniture, curtains, etc.
* Premium Catnip and toy ball to entice play ( I did not receive the catnip...).
* Environmentally friendly materials.
* Recyclable.

Saphira testing it out for the first time.

The cubby hole that contains Baloo's most biggest obsession, haha.

Large enough for a XL breed like Ragdolls.

Made in the USA is always a big plus for me!!

Pros:

* Fast shipping.
* Great customer service.
* Made in the USA (this is a huge pro for me! ).
* Great size at 19.25 x 7.5 x 1.5 inches.
* Big enough for large breeds, like Maine Coons, Ragdolls, etc.
* Reasonably priced; $5.75.
* The Kong Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher has a small crunchy plastic ball that hangs from a string in the inside of the scratcher (what that hole cut out of it is). Baloo is obsessed with it...

Cons:

* Unfortunately, none of my cats really use this product. Years ago, I trained all of my cats to use a vertical scratching post, Saphira is the only one that will occasionally use horizontal scratching posts, Anya and Angel will too, but they're both declawed, so that is pointless.

* No traction. Will slide everywhere when the cat tries to get on it.

I rate this product 3 stars. I probably won't be buying this product again, not that it is a bad product, just that my cats usually won't use horizontal surfaces to scratch, with that said Baloo is obsessed with the crunchy plastic ball that hangs from the inside, so that is a plus.

Review Day: World's Best Cat Litter Forest Scent Clumping Litter from Chewy.com

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013~2016

Hi Everyone,

Today we have a review for the World's Best Cat Litter Forest Scent Clumping 12lb Cat Litter. This is a natural cat litter, it comes in 6 types; Forest Scent, Multi cat scoop able, Clumping, Scented, and two Advanced Naturals. To my knowledge, all of these types clump. I have used the Multi, Forest, Clumping, and Scented. My favorite has been the Forest.

I went away for 3-4 weeks in April (these are my April reviews, and the first reason I have not posted anything in a month). Unfortunately, I forgot to notify my cats' care giver that the litter was for a review, so they used it for the boxes and now I have no photos of the litter in the packaging.

Pros:

* Natural litter.
* All of the cats will use it.
* Does not agitate myself like with clay litters.
* Smells good. Like fresh cut wood, or a lumber jack has been in your house. Who knows.
* Clumping.
* Light weight; maybe a pro for some people, I myself do not mind lifting heavy weight things. I handle 310 lbs of animal food and supplements every week or more for our farm. So....I ain't no b!tch worrying about how 12 lbs weighs. ;)

Cons:

* Clumps easily fall apart.

* Dusty (although it says 99.9% dust free...)

* Expensive.

Over all, I rate this product with 3.5 stars. I will likely buy this again.
