Review Day: Primal Freeze Dried Cat Treats

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013 - 2017

Hi Everyone!

Today I have a review for the Primal Freeze Dried Cat Treats , I reviewed the beef liver variety. These treats come in 3 flavors: beef liver, turkey liver, and pork liver. These treats are sourced from The United States of America and New Zealand. These treats are appropriate for both dogs and cats. These treats are made without added salt, sugar, grains, gluten, hormones, and antibiotics. Perfect for my spoiled crowd of 5. ;-)

These treats are currently available for $6.99 for a 2 oz bag. These make awesome training treats for the cats and perfect for when I travel and need to put them in their carriers. I just wish these treats were easier to break up! Nevertheless though, the cats love them crumbled over their canned food.

Sadly this picture sucks because it was raining the day I took it and worse, I only have one picture to post due to Anya eating through the bag!

Pros:

* Fast shipping.

* Great customer service.

* All 4 of the cats loved them ( Star is the black sheep in the family and didn't approve of these).

* High quality ingredients.

* Little smell.

*  Resealable bag.

* 3 flavors to choose from.

Cons:

* Expensive for 2 ounces.

* Star did not like these and would only eat 1.

Over all, the cats and I rate this a 4.2 star product and I will be buying these again.

Review Day: Blue Buffalo Wilderness Wild Cuts Canned Cat Food

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013 - 2017

Hi Everyone!

I am just now able to comment and blog more. Sorry! I've been crazy busy with my other new website (don't worry, Life with Ragdolls is still shinning. ;-)

Today I have a review for the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Wild Cuts Cat Food , I reviewed the duck variety and this food is available in 3 varieties: duck, chicken, and salmon. I have reviewed the chicken before ( I can't find the post or link but I believe I reviewed it back in December 2015 or 2014. Some where around that time frame. Haha).
The duck flavor is available currently for $28.39 for a 24 pack that is 3 ounces per pouch. This food is a food topper\mixer\supplement and is not made to be a complete cat food. I am a food nerd in general (human food, cat food, rabbit food, and even the food for my betta fishes is super special) ;-)
Lately, I have been researching the importance of cats on a wet food only diet and I've shown great interest in switching my 5 cats to a all canned food menu. Unfortunately though, they still have a lot of kibble to go through before I can make the full switch to just canned food. There are some brands of cat kibble that I really like so maybe I will do kibble monthly?

Pros:

* Fast shipping.

* Great customer service.

* All 5 of the cats loved it.

*  Grain free.

* 3 flavors to choose from.

* Blue Buffalo is one of my favorite brands and they also market dog food (canned and kibble), cat food (canned and kibble), and cat litter. So many choices!

Cons:

* At almost $30 for a food that is not a complete cat food diet, this makes it very expensive to feed daily and each pouch is only 3 ounces.

* Although this time I only reviewed the duck flavor, I have reviewed the chicken flavor in the past and only Angel ate it.

* It stinks.

Over all, the cats and I rate this a 4.5 star product. Due to the smell of it and the cost, I won't be buying this often. My heart says yes but my wallet says no. ;-)

Review Day: Taste of The Wild River Canyon Canned Cat Food

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013 - 2017

Hi Everyone!

Today I have a review for the Taste of The Wild River Canyon canned cat food, this cat food is available as of April 9th, 2017 (the night this review was wrote) for $16.56 for 24 cans that are 3 ounces or $30.96 for 24 cans that are 5.5 ounces. Taste of The Wild has two flavors of canned cat food and two flavors of kibble cat food; River Canyon and Rocky Mountain. Taste of The Wild markets cat canned food, cat kibble, dog kibble, and canned dog food.

Taste of the Wild is what I feed my cats 80% of the time. It agrees with everyone and really helps bring down Star's allergies. Cordoba is very picky about kibble but she just loves this! Anya has a sensitive stomach and this is gentle on her.

Pros:

* Fast shipping.

* Good customer service.

* Comes in two flavors.

* Surprisingly all 5 of the cats loved this food. Star tends to hate any canned food other than pate (this is cuts). Nevertheless it was gone in 5 minutes!

* Okay pricing.

* Comes in either 3 oz cans or 5.5 oz cans.

Cons:

* Smells bad.

* Loaded with carbs which are awful for cats. Cats don't require carbs and only 3% - 5% of their diet should be carbs.
