Hi Everyone,
You're probably wondering why this blog died. Well, maybe you are and maybe you're not, either way, here it is; I am getting way too busy and distracted. Hopefully 2017 will be more organized, but for now, I will do what I am allowed. I've been blogging for almost 3 years now, and it is so fun and enjoyable, I just wish I had more time:-( We hope to change that soon.
Here is our last minute spring cleaning...
What happened to Zayd, Baloo, and Cashmere?
Zayd:
He was purchased as a show\breeder cat in June 2015, I had shown him, but time and work caught up with me, along with being away from home for a week or more time after time. Unfortunately, I felt it was in his best interest for him to go live with someone who actually had the time to devote to sweet Zayd. He was neutered, recovered, and went to a nice retired couple over in Jacksonville, FL who has another Ragdoll for Zayd to play with. They're spoiling him like he deserves and I regularly receive updates and pictures on him.
Baloo:
He was given to me as a pet in September 2015. I loved him beyond measure, but constant traveling left me unable to take him along and he and Saphira constantly fought dispute great attempts to get them to get along. He now lives with a nice family over in Pensacola, FL. We stay in touch about Baloo.
Cashmere:
She was purchased as a breeder cat in March 2016. I didn't feel like it was fair for her to wait a whole year until any male cat I would of bought (I did not have the money at the time and cats can get a dangerous uterus infection if they keep going through too many heat cycles without being bred). She was spayed by her new family over in Pensacola, FL (she and Baloo went to different people). I still stay in touch with them about her.
How old is Anya? Where is Nico?
Anya is pushing 8 years old. She and Nico were born 8-14-2008. Nico was her full brother and is deceased as of 7-14-2014. He was 5 years old at the time of his death.
Where are Star and Saphira?
Star and Saphira are both still alive and they are a regular part of Life with Ragdolls.
Are you still quitting sugar?
Yes, as of 2-17-2016, (almost 4 months ago) I have given up fake sugar in food and drinks. I have no heath problems. I do this for myself only. Not for some trend.
Why doesn't Life with Ragdolls have facebook, instagram, twitter, and the like? Isn't that signing yourself up for failure with a website?
I have a secret (not) plan to destroy the world, it is easier to hunt down someone via one of those sites......haha, kidding!
No, but seriously, I cannot deal with the poor grammar errors (or even worse, literal no English grammar skills), and other ruckus of drama and other crap. Not to mention the most annoying of all....the misplaced and misused hash tags. Just stop please....
No, not at all. Everyone says you will fail without 'social' media. This is simply not true. I have ranked in 93,900 plus viewings on Life with Ragdolls. All. without. social. media! I have been mentioned in the TICA Trends, cat shows, magazines, countless other blogs and website. There is even a painting of Nico in Rome. Famous and everything. You do not need social media. It has done nothing for me and look where I am at....
It is not about getting blog viewings or comments (at least it isn't for me), I blog for my own enjoyment and no one else's. This isn't to say I do not appreciate views or comments. I always have.
