Today's PhotoHunt is "Streets". Yes, I know, not very creative, but I had no other photo to use but this one and no time to take a better pic for this theme. And remember, always look both ways before crossing the streets!

Remember back in March when Saphira had her paws burnt on the stove? Front paws have both healed fairly nicely, and so has one back paw, her other back paw is doing good as well, but its still pealing a tiny bit.
However, I think Saphira has developed a cat cold. She has been sneezing a lot; at least 10 times in 1 hour, she has a runny nose and her nose is really hot. I think she got it from Anya, as Anya started sneezing a lot first, then passed it on to Saphira, and now I think Nico has it too, Star is the lucky fucker has she hasn't developed any symptoms yet. I'm mostly concerned about Saphira the most, because she's 7-8 years old, so she's older than Nico&Anya and I'm not sure how well her body will handle this. Please don't tell me to just take them to the vet, not only do they not have a vet, but I'm also not sure that this is even a cold to begin with. I'm sure this is nothing to be too concered about, as its probably just a small cold and its likely that it will pass over a week or two. Just because we're not taking our cats to the vet doesn't mean we're bad people, we're kind to our animals and give them the best we possible can. Rude or offensive comments will be deleted, keep in mind that this is my blog and these are my animals. I do believe in free-speech, but I do have the rights to delete rude or offensive comments......

Sometimes an easy shot is all you need! :-) It is perfect for this week's theme.
ReplyDeleteOne of our cats has a cold when he started wheezing badly we took him to the vet. The vet said that as loon as he was eating and the behaviour was OK then there wasn't much to be done. It would last a few weeks and all would be OK.
Let's hope your kitties are on the mend soon.
All kinds of streets work! Sorry, I can't be too much help with the cats. When our cat gets a cold we just let it run its course.
ReplyDeleteNice street shot and yes, always look both ways before crossing street :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry your kitties got cold. As mentioned in above comments, I think we have to let it run its course. I hope they will get better soon and hopefully all will be good without Star catching cold.
Happy Saturday xoxo
Sweet kitties, heal soon. Lots of very gentle head bumpies on their way. And definitely lots of purrs. Colds are no fun, but usually all it takes is some cuddling and extra nice mommies and daddies.
ReplyDeleteThat's also what we should do for them when they get sickies, too.

We hope you all get better soon! :-) Colds are a nuissance but whenever we have one it usually passes over a couple of days...
