Review Day: Frisco Multi-Cat Clumping Litter from Chewy.com ON SALE NOW!

Hi Everyone,

This was suppose to be wrote in October, but I got carried away and distracted so I am writing it now.
Chewy.com sent me 40lbs of Frisco Multi-Cat Clumping Litter to review on the blog. It comes in a big 40lb bag for $13.15 . Not a bad price. This is a clumping litter (as said in the description), it claims to be 99% dust free, a multi-cat litter, fragrance free, odor neutralizing technology, and clumping of course.

My cats go through a lot of cat litter since they're on canned food with added water 80% of the time (10% kibble and 10% raw\freeze dried\home made\semi moist, etc). So when I had the opportunity to get to review Frisco Multi-Cat Clumping Litter, I was quite pleased.

Angel:

" What is it? I can't see it (Angel is blind). Sounds like food...maybe litter"

Saphira:

" Is it edible???"

Saphira:

" Nah...my fat a$$ doesn't need more food".

These man made headaches are not part of the review. I found some in my closet and must use them up. I hate litter box liners....

Pros:

* Fast shipping.

* Good customer service.

* Cheap.

* All 5 cats like it.

* Natural.

* Fragrance free.

Cons:

* Not 99% dust free! This product has a lot of dust. Maybe I got a overly dusty bag or maybe that's just how this litter is.

* Poor clumping. Yes, I have 4 inches in (that's what she said....) .

* Tracks a lot.

* Makes Cordoba sneeze a lot.

Suggestions\improvements I'd like to see in this product:

* Better clumping.

* Less tracking.

* Actually 99% dust free would be nice. I am allergic to certain litters.

Over all, the cats and I rate this a 3 star product. I probably won't be buying this in the future. I personally prefer Fresh Step.

Note:

Chewy.com agreed to send me a free product in an exchange for an honest review. All opinions and photos are my own.

  1. Personally, I can't imagine buying litter online unless there's a something special about a brand I couldn't purchase locally. I really don't know how Chewy.com is absorbing (pun intended) the shipping costs of heavy items like litter & food) while other online retailers almost all charge for shipping and have higher prices. I hope they don't have an unsustainable business model because I have started purchasing food from them at a significantly lower price than I can find it locally.

    I found a low dust, low tracking, no scent, great clumping clay litter years ago and haven't tried anything new since.

  2. We've been using this litter since we got it from Chewy and have found it to be very low dust, hard clumping and I hardly track any out of the box. Sorry you didn't like it.
