Review Day: Purina Muse MasterPieces Canned Cat Food

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013~2016

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a review for Purina Muse MasterPieces Natural Pheasant Recipe with Sweet Potato & Spinach  canned cat food. It comes in a 24 pack of 3 oz cans for $30.99 as of December 29th, 2016 (the night I wrote this review). Purina is the Wal-Mart of the pet food industry. They make tons of brands, flavors, different animal foods, etc. They took over Fancy Feast and make Friskies, Dog Chow, Cat Chow, Puppy Chow, Kitten Chow, MannaPro, Muse, Tidy Cats, etc. Muse MasterPieces comes in several flavors: Duck with Spinach & Sweet Potato, Pheasant with Spinach & Sweet Potato, (what I reviewed), Quail with Carrots & Spinach, Chicken with Carrots & Spinach, Arctic Char with Tomatoes & Spinach, Tuna with Carrots & Spinach,

Sorry the photos are so crappy. It was raining hard when I took these.

Anya my helper.

Pros:

* Made in The USA.

* All 5 cats like it.

* Okay ingredients.

* Fast shipping.

* Multiple flavors.

* Good costumer service.

Cons:

* Expensive for 3 oz cans.

* Has wheat gluten, spinach, and sweet potatoes (bad for cats since cats are obligate carnivores).

* Gave all but Star and Anya diarrhea.

* Made by Purina.

* Has some questionable ingredients.

* Only comes in 3 oz cans.

Suggestions\Improvements I'd like to see in this product:

* Better ingredients (ditch the sweet potatoes, spinach, wheat gluten, etc).

* More options, like coming in a 5 oz can vs 3 oz.

The cats and I rate this a 3.5 star product and I probably won't be buying this again.
