Today I wanted to tell you guys about the very beautiful Ragdoll cat breed!! Ragdolls are very beautiful and friendly. They come in a lot of colors and patterns too.
One pattern is "mitted", and another one is "bicolor", and then there is also a "colorpoint". There is 3 kinds of "bicolor" (the pattern). One of my ragdolls (Nico) is a bicolor. Anyway the 3 kinds of bicolor are: "a true bicolor"(Nico is also a true bicolor), and the there is a "van bicolor", and a "mid high white". A "bicolor" has white on it's legs and stomach it also has a upside down "v" on it's face,b ut it also has a mask on it's face with white the "v" on it's face has well should have only white on the "v".
Then there is a "mitted" the pattern (Anya my Ragdoll is a "mitted",) well I mean a "blue mitted". A mitted has little white mitts/paws, and white back feet too; they also have a white stomach but a colored tail and ears and mask with always a white chin but sometimes they may or may not have a "star" or "hourglass blaze"or a "diamond" print on the mask but the blaze must always be white. (Anya does not have any blaze or print on her face but that is perfectly fine:-).). Some "blue mitted's" don't have any blaze/print on their face).
Now time for the "colorpoint" pattern. Colorpoints have no white on them at all, they have dark tails and ears and mask and legs/paws.
All Ragdolls from "colorpoint" to "bicolor", to "mitted" have "killer blue eyes". "Killer blue" is what that color of blue is called. It is called "killer blue" because Ragdolls have very very very blue eyes it is just plan beautiful!!!!. By the way, all Ragdolls have blue eyes.
Now time for the colors that Ragdolls come in. They can come in "blue", "chocolate", "lilac", "red", "cream" or "sealpoint"(I once had a sealpoint Ragdoll. His name was Tadpole he was very very very sweet he would never ever hurt anything or anybody, I miss him so much everyday I wish I still had him with me!!!:-(.)..
Now back to Ragdoll colors. They can also come in "mink" but that is a "pattern" only. And "sepia" but again "sepia" is only a pattern. Now that you know a little about Ragdolls:-).
