Today is another review day, we got five lovely hand-made cat toys! They are rings, made out of yarn and recycled plastic? Truth be told; they look like their made out of yarn and zip-ties (Plastic). The yarn that was used to make them is pretty and soft. The plastic is pretty high quality, and its orange. I was curious as to what was under the yarn on these rings, so I pulled back the yarn on it a bit. You can gently pull back the yarn on the ring, to see what's under it.
use my hand/fingers to show you guys all of the cat toys.
Here is all five of them. Ps: the color is called Sunflower.
What did I like about them?
1: Nicely made.
2: Light wight.
3: Not loud while my cats play with them at nite.
4: Higher quality, then store-bought toys.
5: Soft.
What did I dislike about them?
1: My cats didn't really like them. (Saphira played with them for a while, but Star never had any interest in them).
2: While I liked the way they were made, I thought they could have been made a little heavier.
3: Not what I thought they were.
Over all I give them 3/4 stars.

Those look very nice to me, and I love the idea of upcycling something.

Sorry they didn't love them. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely indeed. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHi Abby,
ReplyDeleteThank you for reviewing my cat toys! I am sorry that your cats weren't crazy about them (I know Saphira played with them for awhile and her pic looks like she was having fun), but isn't that the nature of our little fur balls? They either love it or they don't! Many cats do love these toys and have great fun with them, and I have lots of wonderful feedback and have received many cute stories about them. Generally, if your cat likes hair bands or plastic rings, they are probably going to like these toys as well (but again, it is hard to predict our furry friends sometimes).
The rings are clean, recycled/upcycled plastic rings that me, my family, and friends collect (thank you to my wonderful family and friends - you guys are awesome!). I loved the idea of recycling/upcycling something to make a toy that many cats really enjoy.
Thank you for checking these out, Abby, and thank you to your furry friends as well :)
Sincerely,
Jodie

They did kinda like them. But they aren't crazy about them. I haven't give them to Anya yet. So I am hoping she'll like them. When I do, I'll give you a heads-up.
DeleteHappy Holidays,
Ragdoll Mommy~
We like playing with the rings off of the plastic milk jugs, so we know we would like those! Until they end up under the china cabinet (where most of our small toys go). :)
ReplyDeleteI think those are a great variation of the milk jug rings. Cody doesn't like normal milk jug rings but I think he would like these!
